Chardham Yatra 10 Nights / 11 Days 2017/2018
Day 01: Haridwar – Barkot (220 kms/7 hrs )
On arrival at Haridwar railway station in the morning take a drive to Barkot. Drive through beautiful Dehradun and Mussoorie. Enroute give a stop at Kempty Fall and continue drive to Barkot. On arrival check into your hotel for night stay.
Day 02: Barkot – Yamunotri – Barkot (36 kms drive & 7 kms Trek one side)
In the morning after breakfast drive to Hanuman Chatti from where you ride on a local jeep for Janki chatti (this jeep drive helps you to reduce the trek upto 8 kms). Your 07 kms trek starts from here to Yamunotri. You may take the trek either by walk or by horse or by Doli at your own Mount Kailash Parvat cost. Arrive at Yamunotri after the trek. The water at Yamunotri is hot as one can cook rice by packing it in a cloth and dipping it in the hot water of the Kund. Pilgrims visiting Yamunotri take this cooked rice home as Prasad. At Yamunotri near to the temple one can perform Puja. After taking a dip in the warm water of Jamunabai Kund’s and having “Darshan” of pious “Yamunaji” return back to Hanuman chatti. From Hanumanchatti drive back to Barkot. Overnight stay in your hotel at Barkot.
Day 03: Barkot – Uttarkashi (174 Kms/7 hrs)
After breakfast drive to Uttarkashi which is known as one of the most beautiful valleys in the world. Enroute to Uttarkashi we will stop at Gangnani for a dip in hot water spring here. Continue drive to Uttarkashi. Stay and dinner will be at Uttarkashi.
Day 04: Uttarkashi – Gangotri – Uttarkashi (110 kms/3 hrs each side)
In the morning we drive 22 kms to Gangotri. On arrival at Gangotri take a holy dip in Ganga ji river. The holy river Ganga is also know as ‘Bhagirathi’ at its origin. Perform pooja near Ganga ji and relax in the lovely surrounding. In the afternoon come to Harsil for Lunch. After Lunch Mount Kailash Parvat depart for Uttarkashi for dinner and night stay.
Day 05: Uttarkashi – Rudarparyag (283 kms/9 hrs)
After early breakfast today we will leave to Guptakashi. After a long drive get settled in your hotel and spend rest of the time at leisure. Dinner and overnight at Rudarprayag.
Day 06: Rudarprayag – Kedarnath (75kms by road & 14kms Trek)
In the morning drive to Gaurikund to take a holy dip at Taptakund. After the dip start your trek to Kedarnath (14 Kms/4 hrs) on foot or on by pony/Doli. Pilgrims are advised to carry personal medicines, heavy woolen, toiletries and clothes for an overnight halt at Kedarnath. Reach Kedarnath in the evening and visit Kedarnath Temple for Darshan, Aarti and Pooja. Dinner and overnight stay at Kedarnath.
Remarks : Helicopter tickets to visit Kedarnath also available with advance bookings.
Day 07: Kedarnath – Guptakashi
After breakfast at Kedarnath, we start our journey towards Guptakashi. Take a stop at Taptakund and again continue to Guptakashi. Dinner and overnight stay will be at Guptakashi.
Day 08: Guptakashi – Badrinath (165kms/7 hrs)
Breakfast at your hotel and then take a drive to Badrinath. On arrival at Badrinath take holy Darshan and spend time visiting Mana Village. Dinner and overnight stay will be at Badrinath.
Day 09: Badrinath – Joshimath (44kms/3hrs)
Early in the morning do darshan and then comeback to Joshiamth. By the evening reach Joshimath for overnight stay. At Joshimath stay at our Char Dham Camp.
Day 10: Joshimath – Rishikesh (254kms/8 hrs)
Early in the morning today visit Narsingh Temple and Shankracharaya Math. Later after visit drive to Rishikesh. On arrival at Rishikesh check into the hotel for stay. Check in Hotel. Overnight stay.
Day 11: Rishikesh – Haridwar – Delhi (35 kms/1 hr.)
After breakfast visit Lakshman Jhula and temples at Rishikesh and then drive back to Delhi/onward destination.
